Sunt cele mai populare tramvaie din romania, confecționate chiar la noi in tara, si pot fi considerate drept o poveste de succes. Ele au fost proiectate la institutul ICPSP Bucuresti si construite la Electroputere, Faur si Institutul RATB Bucuresti. Sunt in numar de 356 si se gasesc in orase ca de exemplu Brasov, Constanta, Ploiesti si Bucuresti.

Nici in Constanta nu mai exista, au fost si in Cluj V3A-C-uri
Constanta este penultimul oras ce renunta atat la tramvaie cat si la V3A-urile propriu zise
Ele au fost ultimele tramvaie clasice tip V3A din tara asta

Aici gasiti fotografii cu ele, ultima zis a lor de circulatie a fost 21 noiembrie 2008, dupa au fost retrase in depou, de atunci nu mai stiu cei de soarta lor, planul este casarea lor insa nustiu daca toate au fost casate, cel putin nu inca toate |
